Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team and oversee the kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Create innovative and diverse menus that cater to a range of tastes and dietary preferences
Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating
Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff, ensuring they meet performance standards and follow safety protocols
Maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency
Control food costs, inventory, and wastage to maximize profitability
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen
Stay updated on culinary trends and continuously seek opportunities for improvement and innovation
Work closely with the management team to achieve business goals and maintain a positive work environment
Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Head Chef in a reputable restaurant
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Culinary degree or certification is a plus
