Job Description

• Follow our Cycle of Service at all times
• Prepare beverages according to recipes and in line with company standards
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations, staying guest focused and nurturing an excellent guest experience at all times
• Serve food and beverages in accordance with laid-down standards, but above all in a professional, courteous manner
• Be totally familiar with the composition of all menu items
• Ensure that the bar counter maintenance is always respected and that our guests are always at ease and comfortable when sat down at the bar
• Build rapport with regular customers to create a positive atmosphere
• Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked
• Ensure that customers are correctly charged, present the bill and take payment from the customer, in accordance with the procedures of the establishment
• Redirect customer complaints to the Bar Manager/General manager
• Ensure correct set up of the bar in line with laid-down procedures and par levels 
• Clean the agreed designated areas, in accordance with laid-down procedures, morning/evening routines and hygiene requirements
• Be continually aware of, and maintain, the highest standards of personal hygiene and dress code
• Attend meetings and training courses as required
• Ensure customers’ identification is checked when applicable and confirm legal drinking age requirements are met
• Report any suspicious packages or parcels to management without delay
• Take part in any fire or evacuation drills and ensure complete familiarization with all exits, including those normally used by customers, as well as fire escapes
• Carry out any other reasonable request asked by the management
