Job Description
- Oversee all of the operational aspects of each assigned venue in order to ensure customer satisfaction, achievement of budgeted profit margins whilst projecting a good company image and strengthening the brand
- Oversee and monitor all aspect of the assigned venues including but not limited to F&B COGs, labor cost, overall standards, maintenance, sales, marketing initiatives, training, entertainment and shows
- Monitor the performance of each venue through verification and analysis of guest satisfaction systems and financial reports
- Ensure that all financial related matters for each assigned venue are executed as per Solutions-Leisure policy & procedure guideline
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while displaying excellent organizational and human relations skills
- Monitor and report to the directors all of the financial aspects of each Venue ensuring financial strategies are carried out and outlined goals achieved
- Ensure P&L analysis is carried out monthly and sound financial objectives consistent with the Company's mission statement are developed and filtered down to the General Managers of each assigned venue
- Review and analyze monthly financial results, highlighting problematic areas and taking appropriate action to rectify poor performance
- Develop initiatives, concepts, events and activations to build sales, profitability and guest counts and liaise with Marketing to enhance and rollout all activations, promotions, menus, etc..)
- Maintain and implement standards of quality in all food and beverage service operations , conduct ongoing evaluations and investigate complaints
- Ensure regular Ops Meeting are held weekly with each GM providing effective and professional mentorship and guidance
- To perform a GM role if required, taking sole responsibility for the overall running of the Venue
- Conduct a spot check each venue at regular intervals monitoring standards, cleanliness, product quality and overall performance of the venue
- Ensure that complaints or problems are actioned without delay and that effective follow-up action takes place to avoid a recurrence
- Ensure that each venue is fully operational and closely liaise with the Facility Manager and the GM following up any maintenance issue until completion
- Oversee the recruitment process for managers of each venue and ensure that all departments are fully staffed and on par with the labor cost set in the Business plan as per approval of the Operations Director
- Review and approve the leave of the managers of each assigned Venue
- Develop the food and drinks menu seasonally by closely liaising with the Executive Chef and the Operations Director
- Work with the Entertainment Department all venues to develop, research, launch & execute ongoing shows & new activations
- Ensure that all cash outs, banking, petty cash , floats and money handling for each venue is done as per company procedures
- Conduct GM appraisals every 6 months and ensure that all end of probation reviews and appraisals submitted by the GM are done within the agreed timeframe, reviewed and signed off before being finalized
- Safeguard inventory levels for each venue ensuring that the holding stocks for food and beverage are always kept to a minimal and on par with the levels set by the Operations/Finance department; Review the variance reports for the venue on a weekly basis
- Develop a very good relationship and good communication with all the departments Solutions Leisure (cost control, Marketing, I.T, H.R, Finance, Purchasing, etc,..) and maintain an excellent working relationship with suppliers, contractors & partners involved with our organization
- Attend the weekly Operations, on site weekly management meetings and any meetings requested by Solutions Leisure Senior management team
- To be aware of current trends in the industry and make suggestions on how these could be implemented for the benefit of the company
- Ensure that the payroll process is done accurately by overseeing and authorizing the payroll report submitted by each GM ;To oversee and monitor the service provided by external contracted companies
- To understands the government regulations affecting venue’s operations, ensuring the venue is operated in compliance with all the applicable laws, ordinances, regulations, and requirements of any state or municipal authority
- To monitor all safety and security systems and procedures to ensure health and safety of employees and guests
- To ensure established standards of food safety and sanitation are maintained
- To act as a positive ambassador for the business and carry out any other reasonable requests asked by the Directors
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor Degree in Management or any related fields
- Minimum 5 years of work experience in a similar role within F&B/Hospitality industry
- Valid UAE Driving License is a plus
- Able to demonstrate exceptional leadership and strategic management
- With sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
