We are looking for talented Commis Chefs that will provide assistance in meal preparation, logistics, safety and maintaining restaurant sanitation. Someone with the ability to support the kitchen’s efficiency, without compromising the quality of the meals produced.

Job Description

  • Ensure that the kitchen and working areas are thoroughly clean at all times
  • Establish and ?maintain smooth personal and work relationships in the kitchen
  • Work according to the specifications and instructions received from higher level chefs in the kitchen
  • Arranging and preparing meal ingredients, which includes washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables and fruits
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment's are well maintained and report to superiors for any issues
  • Attend daily briefing prior to service and all training carried out by the venue
  • Perform any additional or special duties as directed by a superior and in a timely manner
  • Maintain the highest level of personal hygiene and grooming at all times, as per standard
  • Ensure excellent communication are and working relationships with colleagues are maintained and contribute to the team spirit
  • Always maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen, storage, chillers, and freezers
  • Assist in disposing spoiled items and adheres to sanitation policies
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational skills and ensure that all duties are completed in a timely manner

Candidate Profile

  • High school diploma or ANY relevant certifications
  • Proven kitchen experience - UAE background is preferred
  • Knowledgeable of food health and safety regulations
  • Have the ability to stand for extended period of time and work under pressure
  • Effective communication skills
